As
a school we have decided join with other schools in our district and adopt a
school that has been affected by the recent hurricane and subsequent flooding
in Texas, helping them out however we can. We are currently in the process of
being matched with a specific school and once we are in contact with them, we
will have a more detailed list of their specific needs. Until then, we are
going to start collecting donations of the following basic school supplies as
well as monetary donations that we can later use to purchase items more
specific to the needs of the school and students. There are a lot of schools
that have been impacted in devastating ways that will need help so we ask that
you help out however you can. Once we have collected donations, we will be
having the students help in a service capacity by organizing supplies and
writing notes of encouragement, love, and support to include in our shipment.
King Farm Trucking here in Tremonton will be sending a truck down to Texas with
donated items next Friday evening and Malt-O-Meal will be donating some cereal
to send as well. Please pass the word along and have anyone wishing to
donate contact the school for more information. Thank you for your help.
